1998 | The medical wholesaler medi1one is founded in Schorndorf. One of the two founders is today's Managing Director, Ulrich Frick. In the early stages the business acts as a commercial representative for several companies in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Wholesale activities throughout Germany are in preparation. |
1999 | Total solar eclipse on 11 August 1999. As one of only a handful of companies in Europe, medi1one has special eye protectors produced for this once-in-a-century event and markets them with enormous success. |
2000 | Relocation to larger premises in Kernen. Medical devices are by now being marketed to specialist dealers on a national scale. medi1one is one of the specialists in the field of tracheostomy. |
2002 | Expansion and relocation to extended premises in Waiblingen. Besides tracheostomy, the company's focus has expanded to take in urology, infusion therapy and medical sets. |
2005 | A second location opens in Waiblingen. This is made possible by the systematic concentration on specialist dealers and the principle of service and qualified advice for customers. With the company motto "Synergies are more successful", the principle that the company practices becomes an integral part of the company's logo. |
2006 | medi1one strengthens its market position as a wholesale company with over 30 employees and a national sales force. The company now supplies several thousand active customers who include medical supply shops, pharmacies and specialist homecare retailers. |
2007 | medi1one achieves DIN EN ISO 13485 certification in order to demonstrate its already existing internal high quality standards. |
2008 | The company starts to expand its existing own brand in response to increasing demand on the part of specialist dealers for alternative products. These private label articles are manufactured all over the world. Acquisition and extension of large company premises in Waiblingen by a shareholder. |
2009 | The two existing locations are closed and relocated to the new premises. This enables continued long-term growth and a broader range of services. |
2010 | Commissioning of the new, semi-automated logistics system. Online marketing is adapted to match current technology. The fields of modern wound care and enteral nutrition are added to the product range. Additional suppliers are integrated. |
